The BSN celebrated Performing Arts in many different ways this week.  The students at Junior School Vlaskamp took turns to transform their front playground and turn it into an enormous piece of temporary art.

The unpredictable Dutch weather was on its best behaviour providing sunshine for the two days that it took to create the masterpiece which was co-ordinated by JSV’s Art Curriculum Leader, Lisa O’Connor and all the students (and several staff and parents) played their part!

In the meantime, children were putting together music and dance performances and the cherry on the cake was an outdoor performance by Year 4 students to welcome parents as they arrived at school for pickup – and inside were buskers and musicians of all ages entertaining everyone.

Whilst we were enjoying the music and spreading the #BSNFeeling, we were also raising money for UNICEF – an international charity working to defend the rights of children in 190 countries around the world.
