Enterprise Week has been full of surprises. Just having the chance to be in charge of real money and have the experience to know what it is like to be a business man or woman has been a unique opportunity that many others might not be able to have. From start to finish, our anticipation of excitement has been fulfilled beyond expectation. Enterprise Week has really shown us what businesses are like. We have been able to overcome set-backs and manage money effectively.

From designing our very own product to producing it to “Dragons’ Den” standards, this fun-packed week has been a moment most of us will remember for many years to come. Advertisement and the art of selling have taken a huge part in this week and hopefully our politeness and excellent communication skills enticed customers into our individual shops.

The week came to a climax on Friday afternoon around school amid a hubbub of excitement. There were funfair games, bookmarks on sale, a spa for a manicure or massage, fun, handmade stress balls and customisable bags for purchase. All of this topped off with a cup of delicious hot chocolate or refreshing smoothie.

The aim of this week was to raise money for a very good cause; our profits will go towards creating a more stress-free environment for patients at the Juliana Kinderziekenhuis. A great week!
